Dick Clark’s annual holiday broadcast of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve has been a television staple since 1972 when it first aired on NBC, then later moving to ABC in 1974 where it’s been broadcasting ever since. Broadcast live from both coasts with Dick Clark live from Times Square in NYC, the annual party features some of the biggest names in music and co-hosted by many familiar faces from the world of  TV music and comedy. Dick took a brief hiatus from hosting when he suffered a stroke in 2004, but returned the following year. Since Dick’s passing in 2012, TV personality Ryan Seacrest has taken over.
