This month marks the 75th anniversary of Casablanca, the film that many consider the greatest to come out of the Hollywood studio system’s “Golden Age”. No one had great expectations  for Casablanca, but 75 years later, it’s still as popular as ever. Although much of the production team went on to great continued success, Casablanca is still a high point in the careers of director Michael Curtiz, stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid, and a supporting cast comprised mostly of European refugees who escaped the Nazis and wound up in Hollywood.
