With the recent hurricanes, earthquakes, fires and floods that have plagued parts of the United States, it’s a deadly reminder that Mother Nature always comes out on top. From the Great 1906 San Francisco earthquake, to the Johnstown Flood of 1889, from the dust storms in the mid-west during the Great Depression, and the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in 1980 to this summer’s hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, which devastated Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico, nature is always a threat.
